What We Do
Temporary Shelter
Animals that are not suitable to undergo the Trap, Neuter and Release program are often in very poor condition, both physically and emotionally. They arrive at our temporary shelter or foster homes with problems such as malnutrition, phyiscal injuries, infectious diseases for prolonged periods without receiving treatment, and have an extreme fear of people, possibly arising due to a history of abuse.
Hence, at our temporary shelter or at foster homes, we make sure that we give the animals the best care that we can. We treat them, bathe them, nourish them back to health, and hope that they would learn to form loving and trusting relationships with humans. All this work is made possible by volunteers who selflessly give up their time to come to the temporary shelter to help out of love of animals and life. Importantly, our shelter is also where pet lovers can adopt an animal and give them a loving home.
There are no working hours at the shelter as we do not have a permanent staff, therefore visitors are required to make an appointment with one of our volunteers before making a visit.
